Found ВЈ30 once, and handed it in, because it may have belonged to a pensioner, who could ill afford to lose it. After 6 weeks, it was not claimed, so I was entitled to keep it it.

Found ВЈ20 in the road when I was about 10. There would have been no point handing it in as it was just a loose note, must've fallen out of someone's pocket or something.

Oh and my friend found about ВЈ500 under a bush once. Handed it in though lol.

I found ВЈ10 on a patch of grass and ВЈ5 by a kerb, a few coins here n there. I felt sorry for whoever lost it each time as I know kids who have got into big trouble for genuinely losing the money for the cornershop grocery shop. I actually had a discussion with a couple of friends and one of my daughters on Sunday, arguing that if you found a wad of cash you should take it to the police. If it's an illegal stash, it's unlikely to be claimed anyway ... then finders, keepers. Otherwise, it's right to go back to a possibly distraught owner.
I did find a bag and scattered contents and handed it in - I didn't realise that there was a gas stamps card worth about ВЈ60 in it - it all went back to the owner and I got a thank you.

i found a tenner in pound coins in a field when i was 12, they were all scattered around the grass i was playing on, and i kept it.
if i find money i keep it.....if i find a wallet or purse etc i hand it in

The most I ever found was ВЈ20 and NO I DIDN'T hand it in, i shared it with my workmate at the time. I remember it very clear, because it is rare, as I'm more likely to lose money than ever to find or win it.

I've found cash quite a few times, a few single dollars here and there, and some larger bills. Probably wasn't right but I've kept all the cash I've found. I've found credit cards and debit cards also, but those I've always handed over to the authorities.
