If it was cash, you are out of luck. If it was a check, have the issuer stop payment and reissue. You may need to pay the stop payment fee. |

It is over. There is absolutely no way to get it back. |

You can try calling the garbage company, but it's probably a lost cause. |

It is gone. Just a tip for the future though. I keep a ten in my wallet at all times and no more. Everything else sits in a bank account and I pay almost everything with a debit card. That way, even if a lose my wallet or the trashman somehow takes it away I still have only lost ten bucks. Just some food for thought.

Unless you are willing to crawl around a landfill for WEEKS digging for this money, you're out of luck. Can you imagine the number of loads of refuse which have probably already been piled on top of it, bulldozed, and crushed ?
Remember a year or so ago, when some guy killed his wife and put her body in the dumpster ? I took them over three weeks to recover her body. Your money is a LOT smaller than a human body. |

Still in Stockbridge!

Why was it in the bin?
ASk the bin men when they next come round or phone the council |

If it was a credit card, try to cancel the acount. If it was a large amount of cash, or a check, call the company and see if they have it. If it was a small amount of cash, its really no big deal. |

lodge a request with the local authority / ask the garbage truck men when they come around again / earn it back! |

Go to the dump and start digging. Otherwise, chalk it up to a lesson in the importance of keeping track of your money, so that it does not happen again. |

I would have to say you're out of luck with that one. Hopefully it was like $0.27. If it was paystubs you could get another one. If it was a check you could stop the payment. But if it was hard cash, forget it. Mow some people's lawns and earn it back! |

Gosh, how terrible.... I think its lost but perhaps you can try phoning the garbage people. Good luck. |

Geez...that's a tough one...its probably a lost cause at this point...but you could try contacting the city dump and see iff they will let you look around.But...that would be like finding a needle in a hay stack! |

It's gone now......sorryyyy.....unless youwant to go to the garbage dump and dig through tons of trash?....mannn dont you hate when that happens!!! ;-( |
|

Sad Sad Sad

Go to the dump, but if it was like 100 dollar bill im sure they stole it. If it was like a check , maybe they threw it back on your front lawn or thought it was your neighbours and chucked it away at them. |

Don't Chase for it, its gone! use your valuable time thinking of earning it back from different sources then just thinking of how to get that back from the garbage... |
