Take that advice about credit cards and shopping and then find a twelve step program like gamblers anonymous or something similiar to stay out of trouble.

Don't carry cards. If you really need it, you will go back the next day. Stops impulse buying.

Well being a shopaholic can be a money eatter, maybe you should try opening your own wholesale dropship business, the benifit is others will buy from you and you get to enjoy a huge discount when you buy from your members area...heck i even think i know of a good place to start....

You can sell on ebay and/or your own website again i suggest the same website they dropship free and have no fees.
Good Luck!

Inpatient Care
Intensive inpatient treatment programmes are available from N.H.S., private and voluntary sectors. Duration varies from 4 weeks to 6 months dependent on indvidual need and programme options at the selected facility. Assessment should be sought in order to identify appropriate treatment. See the Getting Help page for providers.

One to One Counselling
This service is provided by some GP surgeries, voluntary organisations and private sector providers. As the name suggests it is a less intensive therapy usually involving sessions of about one hour per week. This is also offered as an addition to other programmes.

do what i do, only shop clearance and don't bring all of your cash when you go to the mall (or any where else) you will blow it all on!

Do not watch too much FREE TV.

It's affecting your brain and forcing you to shop all the things you see in the commercials.

Buy some TV Series on DVD.

Your brain is weak. Do something to make it stronger like reading a book, playing some videogames and solve some crosswords and puzzles.

Do not use drugs.
Do not drink alcohol.
Do not smoke.

It seems you are doing too much of something and your brain cells are dying.

Open a savings account that limits your withdrawels. Put $50-$100 from each paycheck in there and pretend it doesn't exist.

Grow up, move out of your moms house and get your spending under control.

No one makes you go out and blow your money except you. Take a look in your mirror and you will see the only person that can change any aspect of your life.

Without knowing the extent of your debt or your current income, it is hard to give accurate advice, but I will say this. If you have any credit cards, get rid of all but one. Keep this one put away at home. Also, try to avoid carrying cash. Not only is this safer, but swiping your ATM card makes you more aware of the money you're spending. If shopping is truly therapy for you, you may consider indulging in a relatively small splurge (like 15 dollar lipstick) as opposed to a shopping spree.
It will take self-control, but make a financial goal for yourself and stick to it. You should also consider making a monthly budget and making sure you reserve a certain amount for savings. Pay this amount into your savings as if it were a bill. You should invest in yourself!
