My husband gets them all the time, like some others have mentioned how can they take money out if its not even the bank you bank with?So dont worry ,also dont give them any bank details else they will wipe your account out! |

Do not worry. This is just spam. How would they take money from you if you are not even with those banks? |

label them as scams, even if you get one from natwest. your bank would never ask you to confirm your bank details online.
The emails saying they want to transfer money are scams too, dont fall for them. if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! |

If you don't bank with them they are deffo phishing e-mails.
Trying to get your details or they may even carry virus' or trogen horses.
Delete them, ideally without reading them.
Then delete them out of your trash.
Then update and run a virus check just to be sure.
I get alot through someone claiming to be Nat west. I don't even bank with Nat West but as you do watch out for that one.
Banks NEVER ask for your details via e-mail so ignore everything.
If you are feared of ignoring then contact your bank... through their legitimate website.
If they are really getting you down change your e-mail address.
Tell those who you want to have it.
Be careful who you give it to in the future.
There are some very dodgy people around these days who will rob you given the chance. |

Dont even acknowledge the emails -- just send them to the spam bin. Never give out personal info because that is all they are looking for to use you for identity theft. |

If you don't have an account with those banks, then it's not possible to have unusual withdraws from them. If you are concerned, call the banks directly and don't give out any info by email - it might be a scam trying to get your bank information.
Same with the emails from the Indian men, it's just a scam and if they want your bank info don't give it to them. Just delete the email. If it's truly important you'll get a letter or you'll be contacted by phone by a legitimate business or lawyer. |

Hi Jenni,
I think this is scam, you aren't with either of these banks so how can they know about any transactions ? The scam will be aimed at people who ARE with these banks who will then ring the number on the letter and give bank details to the person claiming to be a bank employee.
Don't worry about it - sounds like you've enough on your plate at the moment.
Take Care !

I actually fell for the RBS one, as I bank with them and it looked convincing.
It was only when I recieved an identical one a day later, then traced the two different senders that I realised what was up.
I contacted the bank, and the police - and was very lucky to have not had any withdrawals.
I get about 400 - 500 spam emails a day now, and as a result rarely use that mail account.
Just relax, trash the stuff that comes through, and just be careful.
Best wishes with the baby. |

I get them all the time. They're phising emails (the unusual withdrawals ones), ignore them, put them in the trash and whatever you do dont put your details into the page it directs you to. If you've already put your details in you need to get in touch with your bank and have them changed. No bank would send you an email about this, they would phone you directly. Don't bother emailing back or putting in fake details because that just lets them know your email account is active and you'll get even more. |

These are phising scams. Delete the emails. Perhaps add them to your blocked senders list. Did you try to win something on-line? If so, knock it off. |
