If you can get thru college without having a job, do it. You will be glad you had all the time to devote to your education & being broke will be incentive to get thru college as fast as possible. If you are basically looking for spending money, try to become a secret shopper. They dont pay much, if anything, but they give you coupons to eat at places for free so you can fill out surveys and report on how the experience was. Another thing is be a designated driver. Tell your friends that you will drive them to the parties and bars if they pay your cover and (non-alcohlic) drinks all night. This way you can still party with them, but you arent broke. Next, only spend what you need to. Buy a 12 pack of coke & a mini fridge instead of hitting the vending machine for $1.50 each time. Eat pop tarts for breakfast and eat in or at the school cafeteria & save your allowance for when you want to do dinner or something with the girls. Hope that helps & good luck!!! I never finished college & I regret it every day so hang in there. |

that means you have $3.33 to spend each day. well if i were you i'd be grateful my parents were giving me that much. how about you find a part time job to supplement? a fast food place would probably hire you and you could eat for free. and with most of those places, they have cute young colleges girls working to, maybe you could find a girlfriend as well. but wait, you can't go on a date with only $3.33 per day! sorry, you just need a part time job. |

Try supplementing your income. You're the exact age that companies target as their main customers (which is probably why you're always broke), so they'll gladly pay for your opinions on products. This site pays you to give those opinions -- and is the only legit one I've found so far: http://www.*************/index.php?ref=82532 |

You are in college. You're supposed to be smart enough to figure that out on your own. Sounds liek you've been spoiled. If you can't, how are you going to make ift for the rest of your life? That said, you already know the answer, you just won't see it. You're spending your money as soon as you get it on fast food and silly junk. Chances are you'd respect it more if you had to work for it. Pretend you earned it the way your parents have worked so hard all these years and maybe you'll respect it more. |

No more fast food, you can use textured soy for less. 5 pounds of it would only cost you 5$ and you only need a little of it as a meat replacement. I use it because it's cheap and 5 pounds of it can last around 12 weeks because you would use so little of it.

Fresh veggies
Milk and milk products
and lastly no name brand cereals would be the best to by since they aren't a name brand. |

Budgeting is self discipline. After you pay for necessities( the word is underlined), and you put away some for a rainy day, the remainder you can blow if you wish. |

One idea is to buy a Wal-Mart gift certificate with it. This way, you could buy gas, groceries, clothes, and so on. You can't cash in on the gift certificate, so you would only be able to buy things you need. Also, watch for coupons for dining out. If you do dine out, go to McDonald's, a Chinese buffet, or pizza place. You will get more for your money at these restaurants. Good luck! |
