$1,200 or less for a round trip air ticket
$300 a month (you will live nicely on this)
6 months for $300, plus air fare of $1,200, equals $3000!

You can't get a loan without collateral.
Maybe you could get a grant or something like that.
Is the Peace Corps. still around? They might need a volunteer to go there. I think there are church missions that go to places like that to help out the poor. |

What's your credit score? Do you have anything that can be used as collateral?
To answer your question to the best of my ability, there are all sorts of loans out there and it is possible to find one that will allow you to start paying after six months. Paying it back could be a very big burden for you because anything can happen and the interest rate could probably be sky high. Now that I think about it, the only place you'll probably get a loan is at a payday advance place but those things are designed to take advantage of people who default. Quitting your job was not the right thing to do because the lender has to have some reaasurance that you can pay him back. Also, getting a loan just to go to India is not likely to go over well unless you go through some Indian based fianancer. The scenario does nto seem possible. I am sure that you didn't get fed up over night. Get another job. Save your own money to pay for your trip. |
