Doin' ok. I wasn't stupid eneough to sign an ARM, though. I have yet to feel bad for anyone who agreed to 'mystery payment amounts'. That was a stupid, stupid trend that hit our country, and I am doing fine because I told the mortgage people "thanks, but no thanks, I am not retarded"
Now that Obama's in line, I'm very encouraged about the country's economic future, and my own as well :)

I made a sacrifice and moved home with the parents. Not paying rent has allowed me to vastly improve my financial situation, even in the down economy. Social life certainly isn't quite the same, but it's only temporary. |

I've had to get a second job to make ends meet. It is what it is and you have to do what needs to be done to pay the bills. I've canceled our cable and cell phone service. I've installed a pellet stove instead of using natural gas for heat. We have cut back on the amount of times we go out to dinner. With Christmas coming, we have agreed not to get each other any gifts this year and only concentrate on whatever we can do for the kids. Just tighten the belt a little and ride it out. |
