Well, I think I know why your asking and I dont mind the reason. But most places only pay by check. Reason being its far more convienent for them. If you truly need to be paid in cash contract jobs are about the only ones that do. However, I will mention that if you are paid by check there are "quiet" ways to turn that check into cash. Money mart is the greatest example of this. One piece of ID is all you need and you walk out the door 5 mins later with cash. |

If you're looking for something temporary, you can cut yards, wash cars, paint houses, or do some small carpentry work. I know sometimes, I pay cash, and for people (caretakers), who care for my mother, I sometimes pay cash. Just a few options here. Otherwise, most employers are interested in income tax returns, legalities, and they pay with checks. Some construction (small business owners) pay cash. You just have to ask. All you will get is a no, and you won't get hurt. |

Don't go in and ask that. You'll just seem very unprofessional and inexperienced. Any job that is going to pay you cash - or under the table - is shady. Think about it. No taxes. Good for you, but It may catch up with you later and the company. You never know. Even waiters/bartenders have to say how much tips they made, so the proper tax can be deducted from their pay checks.
If you really want to be paid cash every time you work, the best kind of work would be somewhere you get tips. |

A few jobs that pay in cash are, bus boys or cleaners of the restaurant, who clean up tables after a table is finished with. These jobs are payed by the hour of 7-8 dollars, and my brother who does this makes 45 dollars in cash for a day. Also, you may look on google for career searching, or find jobs on google. Most jobs are not payed under the table, but for example an ice cream salesman, or a person who sells objects for a non-franchise organization may get payed with cash, or under the table. Good luck. |

the only way they would is if it was under the counter. but that can get employers in trouble cause deductions cannot be made. just do babysitting or lawn mowing |

Many jobs that pay in cash only are illegal jobs. The penalties to both the employer and the employee if either is caught can be quite ..... drastic and unpleasant, how's that? And then you'll have to cough up the state, federal, and FICA taxes that weren't withheld from your paycheck, along with penalties (anywhere from 10% to 25%) and interest.
And if you're trying to avoid paying child support, it gets really ugly when you get caught working "under the table" like that. |

Just request for cash when they tell you that you can have the job. Make up some excuse like the bank banned you for being rude and you currently have no bank account, so therefore you need to be paid in cash. I dont know, just an idea. xD |
