This sounds like a dumb question and I doubt there will be a really good answer that I could use because if there was a fast way of getting extra cash, everyone would be doing it, right? I'll ask anyways. I usually am very good with my money but some medical, court and other recent unexpected expenses have come up and I only have $77.88 left in my account, pay day is on Friday, however I have a major problem. My gym money comes out of my account automatically tomarrow, my car payment comes out automatically on the 24th and I also have $50.00 being transferred automatically to a dedicated savings on Thursday. You can go to your bank and see if they offer a line of credit. You request a line a credit and let's say it's $1,000.00. You have your accounts linked to that so you never bounce a check. Then when you get your paycheck you pay that off first. That way you only pay interest on what you bored and only for the days u were out. Meaning pennies on the dollar. And you always have that there to fall back on. |

Go in and cancel your gym membership. Work out at home. Yeah, it's not as much fun to jog around the neighborhood but it saves money.
Transfer the needed money from your savings to your checking.
Ask mom, dad, grandma...etc for a short term loan. |

Call up the bank. Have the gym membership removed from automatic payment. Call the gym up. Explain the situation.
You have a few more days before the car payment. Call up your employer and ask for an advance. If this isn't feasible... go to a payday loan company. If that isn't an option. Call up the car people and explain the situation you will not get bad credit for a few days late.. they do not report to credit the day you miss your payment. I believe they report every couple of months. If you call in... explain.. I'm sure they won't even bother with putting it on your report.
The main thing is to let everyone know what u're doing. |

well, there's always those payday loans (check cashing places)... a way better bet would be a bailout from friends, mom, dad, or the grandparents. im not trying to be a jerk, but for someone on such a fixed income (guessing you are a student?), maybe you should be ditching the gym membership (jogging and situps are free), nixing the savings account for now (or withdrawing from it), and sell your debt-mobile and get a cheap clunker... there's plenty of time left for having nice things.. you sound like me 2 years ago. If you have a credit card, cut it up now!!!! |

2. Look for change in your home
3. Like "The Apprentice" consider a quick sales event. Could be t-shirts or other things. Maybe vegetables on a roadside stand.
4. Borrow it.
5. If you had to look for bottles to return (in a state that does this). |

Go donate plasma....they pay you $30 your first visit, and you can go more than just once, your second time and any time after that they pay you $25...go donate plasma, then go donate sperm....look up the clinics on the internet for your area. And if you have any scrap metal laying around gather it up and take it somewhere, you'd be surprised how much you'll actually get for crap that's just laying around your house. You need to go to a payday loan store....that is if you don't mind paying about 50% interest. They will give you the money you need and hold the check you write until payday, before cashing.
A better route to go is a pawn shop. Pawn your TV, musical insturment, DVD player, DVDs, Car....something of value. They give you cash and then they hold the item until you pay back the money. If you don't they keep the item you pawned. |
