Spread the word. Tell everyone you know that you're raising money, and if they need any odd jobs done or hear of any work, to let you know. Print up flyers and/or biz cards that says you'll do odd jobs. Lawn care, babysitting, house cleaning, pet sitting/walking/washing, help put in a fence or assemble a trampoline (I wouldve paid for an extra pair of hands when putting mine together!) Grocery shopping for people. Really, anything. But def. spread the word, try to get a decent paying part time job, and do odd jobs before or after work. Offer to put up Christmas lights for people, or take them down. The holidays are coming. Cash in! Sell your stuff on Craigslist or Ebay or a garage sale. Recycle cans. Buy candy and gum from Costco or Sams Club and sell them for a profit at school. And save. A little here and there everyday for a few months can add up quick! |

Depends on how old you are. 125 dollars can be made easily one day at a decent paying job. If you are too young for a job think of babysitting, or maybe cutting grass. When I was little i used to knock door to door and wash peoples' cars. You just have to be inventive. Anything can get you a couple of dollars a day. And most importantly SAVE EVERYTHING!! |

A job is the best way. If your too young to get a 'real job' then I suggest you look for ways around the neighborhood to earn the money. You can find 'domestic jobs' by going door to door and asking your neighbors if they have any jobs you can do for a reasonable pay. You can mow yards, rake leaves, baby site, wash windows, house work, etc. Make a 'flyer' of the things you can do and amount you would want to be paid for doing it. Then visit your neighbors and give them the flyer with your name and number.
The only way to to earn money is to work for it.

1. Get a job somewhere. Just look around. Your school might have work study. And you can make plenty by Christmas.
2. eBay. Look around your room and see what you don't need. If it's worth over $25, sell it. Maybe you do like it, but if it's worth a lot take it under consideration. eBay is easier than most people think. |
