How can I make $3000 in six months?
I'm planning a trip this summer (June '09) and I'm looking to start saving for it now. I estimate it'll cost about $3000 total.
I'm a full-time student, I have a part-time temp job, and I've been looking for something else but as most people know, it's hard to find anything - there's not many places hiring around here. Either way, most of what I make part-time gets spent on day-to-day living expenses. Take the job thing out of it for a second. I don't need to see any answers telling me to "get a real job".
I'm really looking for any kind of investment I can make or business I can start myself in the short-term to bring in some extra cash...any ideas? I have about $200 of capital to start with now...

all I can say is save as much as possible. like cut down on everything that you can cut down on like food, clothing, entertainmnt. all that jazz.
and decide on a specific amoount of money that you have to put away every month. 500 each month and you will reach your goal.

Advertise yourself. Tutoring at 10 an hour. Senior Citizens are always looking for a young person to help with chores around the house. Whole car detailing. In my area the guy gets 50. to thoroughly clean the inside of a car. The works including shampooing the carpets. Takes him 3 hours.
Investing your 200 to buy and then sell something is difficult because now you need to worry about business licenses, sales tax.
