How can I make money while I am under 16?

I have been doing yard work, but am getting sick of it. I am 15 years old and have a talent for writing poetry. What are some ways I can make money online/offline?

I spent many a time wondering the same question ;)

I looked through all the blogs, signing up to all the sites and came to a conclusion for the best options...

The neilnapier part is just a refferal link... it just says to the website that I got you to sign up. To start making money first you must sign up to Alertpay.com.

This is free and is basically where all the money is sent to, to then be sent to paypal.

Each website gives about 15 links a day (average)... each click makes $0.01 and there are 10 links... so by the end of it you WILL make a lot of money.

I have tested many of the sites and these seem to work the best. I have made a good deal of money out of it already.

If you are 16 try to do community jobs like household chores, babysitting, mowing lawns, washing cars, paper round and working in local shop.

When you have started earning save your money and buy the essentials like clothing, entertainment and social life.

To make money online you can:

-Sell products on ebay
-Do online surveys
-Start a blog and sell ad space
-Offer a service like writting, web design etc

This is my experience with them in terms of receiving payments.

Oct 20 2007: I received my first payment of $10.01 after waiting for 30 business days.
Dec 30 2007: I received my second payment of $10.11. (requested on Oct 20 2007).
May 23 2008: I received my third payment of $102.84 (requested on Dec 30 2007).

So, I guess they may be slow in payment, but so far they have been paying me.

Bux.to is still one of the fastest growing PTC. Their payment of 1 cent per click and 1 cent for each of your referrals' clicks means that your earnings can grow quite fast especially if you have some active referrals. I am now getting about 13 clicks per day. Upgraded members get at least 20 ads per day.

May 9 2008: It seems that they are now paying those who requested at the beginning of Dec 2007. I requested my payment at Dec 30 2007. Another month of waiting ...

March 8 2008: Bux.to card is now only available to Premium members and no longer to Standard members as was originally announced. buxto forum

March 7 2008: They have just issued the Bux.to MasterCard which should help to speed up payments.

The people at the Bux.to forum are all excited about the Card, but I think that it would be wise to look at the fees.

Also, if you have a pending payment then you would need for that to be paid before you can request the next payment.

March 6 2008: Payment and account security

For large payment requests, bux.to will do a history check to make sure that legitimate person are being paid. If there is no cross-reference or payee address recently changed payment will be marked as "Sent" but not released. They will then try to establish contact with the member to confirm the payee address.

Please do NOT use the same passwords on other sites or email at Bux. Make a new seperate password dedicated for Bux and Bux's forum.

Feb. 21, 2008: Phishing Alert from Bux.to

Hi there,

I've searched countless sites and forums wondering the same thing. There seems to be a fair few website's online for UK or US surfers, allowing possible sources of income such as completing surveys, searching the net, clicking banners, advertising products etc...

Unless you have a very popular website, or product to sell, and thus advertise other's from you're own site, it's going to be quite hard to make serious money online.

However, one site i've found for a wee bit extra income totally free to set up is MyHomepageFriends - http://www.myhpf.co.uk/apply001.asp?Friend=178007

Basically, you sign up, and use the search engine (which is yahoo), and for every search you make, the site makes 5p, and gives you 2p for this.. Now this probably doesn't seem like very much! But if you're making 50 searches a day, that's a pound a day and then - 30 quid a month! Plus, you get 1p per search of every friend you let know about the site..

Works well and pays you by paypal/cheque/credit card (i think.. definitely paypal!).. It's not a lot, but an opportunity to maybe make an extra ВЈ50-ВЈ100 a month for doing nothing other than what you probably already do in google - search the web! You can also check your balance at any time so you know how much you've earned!

if we knew that WE would all do it! Truth is you dont get paid much and in my country UK you cannot earn money until you are 16. Keep writing your poems and send copies of them to the places you think may buy them, like publishers , if they are any good am sure we will read them one day soon, but expect also rejection and so if you dont hear back you can get another type of job at 16, and write poems as a hobby!
