A little story....my hubby's hobby is "dumpster-diving". He finds all kinds of things (he doesn't actually go into dumpsters, just drives by people's houses at night to see what they put on the curb for the trash the next day). Last week he found 50,000 baseball cards which he turned around the next day and sold for $600. Earlier in the summer, some people were moving out of their house and put boxes of stuff on the curb....he found 3 antique mink coats, which he sold at a vintage store for 200 bucks apiece ....we live in a college town and college students are the BEST for throwing out good stuff. Just drive around at night, pick up a stereo, tv, box of books, and sell them the next day.... good luck |
