Perhaps you could look into a higher paying job. Do any of y our friends make more money than you? Perhaps they can refer you to their employer.
You could also babysit, perhaps run errands for a neighbor, or ask your parents for opportunities to earn extra money around the house - perhaps cleaning out the garage, or washing the windows. You could sell things you no longer want/need on Craigslist to make extra money, or perhaps set up a little business doing that for your family, friends, neighbors...
Also, perhaps you could look at your phone plan and take a less expensive one. That would likely mean using the phone less.

You can always use skype. It's very cheap to call real phones, and free if you call someone else using skype. |

First of all, Good for you for actually having a job and paying for your own phone bill!
Second - Welcome to the real world.
Your choices in this matter are simple. Earn more money or spend less money.
Right now it might be hard for someone your age to get a higher paying job, so, you might want to look a cutting your costs.
To spend less on your phone, you either need to use it less, find a better plan or renegotiate the deal you have with your parents. I'll hazard a guess that the current deal is, if you want a phone you have to pay for it., right?
One way to cut down on your cell phone use is to never use it when you are at home. Just pick up the land line and use that.
You might want to look at the other things you want to spend money on, likes clothes and make-up. You can go shopping at thrift stores and find some fabulous vintage stuff, really define your own style. Buy the cheaper make-up at the drugstores. They all have those combination kits in stock right now for good prices. One of those will last all year.
Perhaps you can negotiate things like shoes with your parents. Have them buy you the basics, like sneakers and winter boots (cause your feet are still growing) and you buy the trendy fashion shoes with your own money.
Does your job require you to use your cell phone a lot? If so, ask your employer to help you out with the bill or to provide you with a company phone. If your are provided a company cell phone, never use it for personal calls.

umm you could not have a phone? but uhh theres those cricket phones like 50 dollars a month you get unlimited everything and its not a contract its a month to month thing so you dont need to continue it if you cant afford it. or try and get a higher payign job. im also 14 and i have a phone and i just share minutes wiht my family.unlim txts are like 15 dollars a month? not that much and if you dont use a ton of minutes you can pay your parents or soemthing if they have cell phones |

Its simple just cut down the use of the cell phone. your not old enough to sign your on contract so you must be on a shared plan which means it's only $20 a month. If you stop all the texting and talking all the time your parents could cut the package down and it would cost you $20 a month. Theres your answer |

Cut down your minutes and dont text. Depending on where you are there are local phone plans that are about 30-50 a month. |
