I would love an aussie puppy, and there are some in Iowa ready to go in December. I really want one, and all I need now is $1,400 to cover all costs in the first 6 months after getting her. I have $200 now.
It is $700 for puppy & shipping combined, and app. $375 for vet bills in first 6 months. Food is app. $14.00 / 16 pounds not sure I think around $150 for 6 months maybe $200?? Toys are about $100 for 6 months, then I have to consider the bed, collar, tags, all the once-every-coupla-years things so ttal ABOUT $1400-$1475
I already own my own business walking dogs & petsitting, and have thought about these:

Based on your question, I advise you ignore ALL the answers you get here. You already have a better plan than 99% of the people that will bother answering.
I often respond to this type of question by asking how you intend to care for the dog after you buy it. You have at least considered that. I think you can get better prices for the toys, bed and collar. I realize this question violates your last paragraph, but I still believe it is the best you can expect on YA. |

Well, you asked about ways of making money? Well, there are a number of online sites that I use to make money. They are working great for me and they are all free to join. I have made about $1,700 in a three month period. Good luck, if you decide to use them. |

You could get relatives to match you in how much you've raised on your own (ex. have your uncle give you five dollars for every ten that you've raised)
but yeah getting a job would be the quickest way to go if you're underage you can apply for a work permit from your school or school district and get a job.
or get a babysitting gig or something. good luck! |

if your old enuff get a part time job in only wok 4 hrs a day if that bank bout 100 every week or 2 weeks pending the the job and pay and with the rest of the day do the other things you were gonna do |

I guess you are not old enough to go to work, so if it was me here is what I would do:
-You can sell just about anything on Ebay. I would go around the house and get rid of anything that is still in good condition that you havent used in a while. (Make sure you do your research on Ebay first so you will know the best way to sell your item). Also ask your parents, siblings, friends etc. if they have anything they would like you to sell for them and you get part of the profit.
-You can babysit
-Dog grooming
-Wash cars
-Ask your grandparents if there is any work around their house that they would like to hire you to do.
