How can a 13-14 year old girl make pocket money when I'm living in the Irish countryside?
My parents won't give me any pocket money, I'm not allowed to get any of my neighbours and there is nothing like paper routes available. I've tried asking the shops if there is any part-time jobs or at least voluntary ones but they always say no. I can't go on eBay or anything like that. Is there any way left to make pocket money I haven't tried yet?
Additional Details
I know that I could do stuff for my neighbours, but my parents don't wan't me doing that because they don't like people paying us, my parents and I feel bad even though there isn't anything really to feel bad about.
My parents won't give me pocket money because usually (if the product is not to dear) they buy me it. (This is like clothes and shoes, but this is only once a month) I want to save money though (by getting pocket money) for when I'm older or I want to buy something that is dear. (Or my parents think it's dear)

Have you tried a face-face discussion with your parents about why they won't give you any pocket money. Perhaps they are afraid of the independence this might give you. If you can convince them that having some money will teach you valuable life skills - budgeting and money management they might be more inclined to agree. My parents were reluctant to give me pocket money as we simply didn't have much money. I convinced my mum to give me some of the child benefit money instead of her buying my clothes - I would take responsibility for this myself. It did mean that if the money ran out I had to go without though.

This site might give weight to your argument for pocket money http://www.babyinvestor.com/

Suggestions for jobs - babysitting, washing cars, gardening, waitress. Are these any good to you?

Good Luck!

babysitting, offering to cut the neighbours' grass, things like that.

Babysitting. I made a lot of money at that when I was your age until I was 16 or so. But I always took my responsibilities seriously. That's why I had steady customers.

dog walking, making crafts and selling them

You could offer to cut people's grass or wash cars.

The Wail of a Banshee
You could ask your neighbours if they would let you take their dog for a walk or go shopping for them , maybe sweep up leaves , cut the grass, do some gardening , even window cleaning ,good luck and well done for trying to work.

Rhoady
Yes like the first answer wash cars or do gardening. But also perhaps dog walking,if you can find the customers you've a lot of money to make from it. I usually get at least £15 an hour just for a local dog.

Hairwashing/sweeping at local hairdressing salon? an egg round? (that's what my friends who lived in the countryside did), I did filing in the local opticians, baby sitting and feeding people's pets when they went away when I was your age. How about dog walking or pet sitting? What if you earned the money from your mum and dad rather than just 'giving' you the money. My mum used to pay be by the item to do ironing. I used to get 20p an item (but with inflation you might want to ask for a bit more becasue that was 14 years ago for me!)
