I posted the following before, which was well received. Hoping it helps here:
Parents change their mind if you make a good argument. I recommend:
• write a letter to them stating why you need the money
• Ask them what you could do around the house to earn the money from them, or what services they would allow you to offer neighbors (gardening, clean-up, washing cars, etc._
• Offer to scan 100 or 50 of their documents into PDF (I'd pay that in a heartbeat), including marriage certificates, old tax returns, front pages of passports, etc.
• Do homework for friends. You get their knowledge and their money!
• As for school grade awards
• Scan old family pictures into GIF/JPG
• Start a dog walking business in the neighborhood, which you can argue is not a job. It is a "business" |

my parents are just like yours, and im also 14 so i know how you feel. you could try to borrow of a friend or your parents and pay them back later, or you could clean around the house or something or ask if you can do a job that carries on for the next month or something and ask them to pay you in advance. |

why don't you ask your parents if they have anything you can do for them to make some extra money? Then they would be the ones paying you and it wouldn't be for someone else. You could always set up a lemonade stand or if you can't sell on ebay have a garage sale |

I had the same problem with overprotective parents. Just sit down, and try to reason with them and persuade them to let you babysit, mow lawns, shovel snow, ect. They have to realize your getting older and that you do need a little more freedom and that they can trust you. If that doesn't work, then help at with the chores around the house, do something really nice (sweep/mop, dishes, make brownies, ect) or just ask them for $20. I wish you well♥ |

tell your parents since they won't let you babysit yet then you'll clean the house & they have to pay you like $35 it works for me sometimes when i clean rlly good i can get up to 40 dollars & it only takes like 2-3 hours

Offer to rake someones yard ,ask a family member or friend if you could help them and make twenty dollars. Ask your neighbor if they need any work done and tell them you will do it for $20.00. |

Ask your parents to write out a long list of jobs with how much they'll give u for each job beside the job. Do a couple that earn you 20$ or more!!! |

If it doesn't work initially, tell them you'll do it for a week. If they don't let you go out and work for other people they should at least give you some sort of allowance. |

uhhhh damn your really stuck.....wow not even baby sitting or law mowing....No bake sales? No ebay?! hummmm i guess you could root around for change in like the sofa and stuff? Wow girl i just don't know...They don't give you a allowance?! If they're not gonna let you work you gotta get an allowance...OH There you go! Talk to your folks and tell them sense you can't or they won't let you work that you want to have a fixed set of choirs to do around the house for weekly allowance. There you go! ahhhhh, now the world is one again. |
