I have been highly successful earning money during the summer. A few jobs that worked well for me:
1) mow lawns in neigbhor. Just buy a mower for $200- $300 and go around asking neighbors if you can mow their lawn during the summer or when they go on vacation
2) Powerwashing: This was highly successful for me. With the proper equipement and work ethic you can make $200-$300 a day. It's very hard work but pays extrodionary well
3) Part time job. Maybe a neighbors runs a small business. Offer to help out.
4). babysit.

Mow lawns,it pays good money.Because people either don't have time or don't want to spend their free time, doing their lawn care on their days off. So you are offering a very wanted service. Many older people cant care for their lawns, but can afford to pay a young person too do it for them. Buy a good mower and trimmer,it will pay for its self fast. Trimmers under 100 dollars are junk,get a self propelled mower,a push mower will ware you out the first lawn you cut.Good tools pay for their self,and will keep you away from a repair shop weekly. Don't under price your work, remember the price of your tools and ware on them ,gas,oil,and your labor. Any SMALL LAWN is worth 30 dollars to mow it. Many ways. Choose what you enjoy doing, then find out who in your neighborhood needs it done.
Also rope in a few like minded friends and work as a team. You get more jobs to do, if you have more hands to do them. |

mow some lawns. i had to wait till i was 15 to get a real job, as a groundskeeper. maybe you can get in for groundskeeping though at an apartment complex worth a shot. |

Ask neighbors, family, or friends if you can babysit, do yardwork, clean house, etc. |

Considering you can't get employed til you're 16, some other options you might consider would be mowing yards for people in your neighborhood. If you don't get an allowance, you might ask your parents about getting one for doing chores and the like. Maybe even sell some things. |
