Work at a country club! (the ones that have golf and stuff)
People make good money. Or work at six flags, then you get
to ride the rides! I think, because thats where I live |

just ask your parents you will wash their car, do the dishes, vacum the floors, garden work, or any other household duty in return for some cash. and/or ask your grandparents for some money if they are rich. |

be a waiter at a really fancy restaurant. the fancier the more you get per hour. also the food costs more, and since a waiter on average gets a 20% tip, you would get more money.
hope everything works out for you! |

ask neighbours if they're are any small jobs that they need doing
preferably old people because they pay more
or grandparents ask them if they could give you some money for a birthday present towards a car
or take out a loan |

you can sell things you don't need, babysit for neighbors, offer to do chores for some of your family members. selling things on ebay is a good way to make money.
And just because a car is cheap, doesn't always mean that it isn't reliable. i bought my car for a thousand and have put like tons of miles on it. |

ask the local wealthy people for odd jobs dr.s, lawyers, business owners. house cleaning, leaf raking, probably only about 8 $ hour cash, to start because of your young age. once you get your foot in the door, if youre honest, they like you, your dependable, on time, do good work in a timely manner, then after a few months you negotiate for more money. my wife and i are 30 and make about 20 to25 an hour odd jobs, house cleaning, for doctors. the trick is to do better than anyone else. |

You can get a work license at the age of 15 in most states, so why don't you apply for a job in the mall? If you like Hot Topic more, go to their site and download an application PDF. Or if you like Abercrombie and Fitch-type stores, A&F is doing casting and all the info is on their site. IDK if it's for models or whatever but at least it's a job |

2000.00 is plenty of money to find a reliable car. Ask your parents to find the car for you if you must. Give them the 400.00 that you have saved back. |

Instead of buying pointless things, try and save more and more, or sell stuff you don't want and need online |

Get a loan if you can.... then again if you dont make enough to buy a car you might not be able to afford insurrence/gas/etc.
If you can, and you live close to places... bike or walk. Seriously, economic times call for it. Finding a higher paying job that will accept someone as young as you is difficult. |

If you have stuff you don't use anymore, sell it on eBay. It takes a little time and effort but not too bad. Clothes, games, just about anything will sell! Good luck and happy new year! |
