I was also going to suggest that he sell junk. It is amazing how much you can get for your "stuff" that some people will think they can't live without! Ebay is not my cup of tea, but evidently lots of people even make a living on it. I wish him luck |

Why is he just now trying to find a job if he was laid off a few weeks ago?
No games to be played when rent is due! scary stuff!
Has he tried looking for a temporary job at a local fast food restaurant or anything? it might not be that much money but it IS money.
He could sell some of thing things..I think there might be some laces where he ca borrow money and give it back when he has it.
He should be doing his research.

He can do a clinical study like for a covance clinic or something. Usually these tests are very harmless and you can make up to $5,000 or more depending on your area and where you live. I've heard of them being for $3,500 usually. |

Go to craigslist.org and look for a promo job. They are located in the marketing/pr/advertising section. You rarely have to go for an interview and most of them pay cash. The jobs are usually on the weekend for a few hours. The last one i did was simple, stand on the corner and handout Gillette razors. Its good fast cash for easy work. |
