You can buy pre-paid credit cards...the usually cost around 10 dollars and you can load them with the amount you choose. Also, the VISA gift cards are loadable, and you can use them like a regular credit card for online purchases...you just have to go to the gift card website and enter name & address with the card details. |

they want the credit card number so that when you want to buy something from iTunes, they can automatically charge it on there rather than you having to go through a long filling out process every time you buy a song, movie, video, etc.
so sorry to tell you,
but the credit card/debit card number is required to start an account.
and a gift card wont work because then when you run out of money on there, they are going to want to charge on your credit card after that because of the taxes on the songs. |
