He needs to write, "Pay to the order of...." then your name and then sign it. Then when you get to the bank you sign it. But you have to check because some banks will not cash it for you unless you have an account with them. |

All he needs to do is sign his name. When you bring it to your bank, you sign your name under his. |

He might be giving you a bad check!!!!!
The second he gives you the check call the banks 800 number if you can. If you input the account number and the amount, they will let you know if there are sufficient funds.
I am pretty sure this check is going to bounce if you put it in your account. Banks charge 10 dollars for a returned check. |

He has only to write his name on it, but it is best if he writes 'Pay to the order of ______" (your name) under that. |

He just signs it. Why not have him cash it and give you the money OR have him get a cashiers check payable to you. |

some banks require you both be present if he is not on your account, yo stop fraud - be sure the check is good first or YOU could be held liable and charges pressed against you -
'
IDEA take him to a check cashing store have HIM cash the check and pay you cash!!!! |

He can write "Pay to the Order of (your name)" and then sign his name underneath that on the back of the check. |

First he needs to write "pay to the order of _____________ (your name). Then he needs to sign under that. Then when you get to the bank you then sign under his name. Before you sign it though ask your bank if that is correct as all banks have different rules about 3rd party checks and not all banks will accept them, or they will put a hold on them for a few days. Hope this helps! :o) |

To be safe so that no one but you can cash the check, he should write:
Pay To the Order Of
your printed name
his signature.
When you go to cash the check you only need to sign beneath his signature! |
