You could mow yards. Deliver newspapers, or if your parents sign a waiver, you can work at certain places, like a small restaurant as a busboy or something like that.
You could offer to walk dogs or dog sit.
You could wash cars.
I detasseled corn at your age and babysat. |

You almost cannot be truly wealthy (multiple millions net worth) as a teenager unless you are born wealthy. But to become what you might consider wealthy - that is, enough to buy some consumer electronics, etc. (which isn't wealthy - in fact, the road to wealth is to invest and save, instead of wasting money on flat screen TVs, etc.), try this -
#1 - Get a part-time job. #2 - If possible, or as soon as you can after getting your initial job, try to get a job where you get tips. If you can't get a job where you get tips off the bat, get a job that leads to a job where you get tips if you move up. E.g., you might start as a busboy (some tips), then move up to waiter (better tips). |

You are an entertainment seeker. You cannot be "wealthy" while hitting the electronic stores for your toys. Grow up, buddy. |

Well, I don't know what your interests are, but I'll tell you how I do it:
I'm writing a movie script with my friend and we're going to sell it to Hollywood, hopefully Lucasfilm Ltd (Star Wars & Indiana Jones's Production Company). I'm also writing music and I'm going to post it on Myspace and sell my own CD's. You know, Myspace now has this thing where you can make a music account and then make your own little Music store, sort of like iTunes. (:
You can do a lot of things, it depends on what you're interests are. If you like to write, become an author. If you like movies, write a script and work your way up to becoming a director/producer. If you like drama/plays, go to acting school and audition for TV shows and whatnot. If you like music, write or practice music and start gigs. If you're a good artist, start a yard sale with your art.
You can also find a summer job since you are pretty much 16. I mean, one month won't hurt. But the ones I mentioned above will get you big bucks, but keep in mind it's a lot of hard work and focus.
I wish you the best of luck. |

One of the things you can do to make money is to take online surveys. Really, you're not supposed to take most surveys unless you're over 18, but there are some surveys that are specifically for teens. They generally pay $1-5 per survey, take about a half hour to complete, and you choose when you take them.
Also, you could try buying and selling stuff on eBay. Buy something for cheap, then raise the price and sell it to someone else.
A third thing you could do is a formatting business. Most people don't know how to update from a VCR to DVD, DVD to mp4, CD to mp3, etc. Get a VCR-DVD-mp4 converter and set up a business. Someone sends you a VCR, you convert it into a DVD and send it back, they pay you. First, you can start out converting for people around your neighborhood - advertise with flyers or post a notice on your city's website, if they have one. Advertise at school, at your parent's workplaces, etc. If you either have money saved up or make enough money, buy a website and move your business online. It will be worth it. Purchase a Google ad for your business, and watch the requests roll in.
Any way you do it, good luck. |

A friend of mine bought his truck cash and his dad a 60 inch TV when I was in high school. He earned his money setting up and managing network for nearby schools and other businesses. So if you want to be wealthy, learn yourself a skill that is in high demand and high paying. |

My first job at a gas station...DONT WORK AT ONE!
Next Id go work at resturant. You may have to start as a busser but once you get your feet wet, try to get promoted to a server. Thats what I did in high school and I was one of the kids that was living large.
Hope this helps!
Cheers! |

You find a gap and try to fill it. In other words, try going around asking people what product or service they would like but isnt already there in the market, try that and im sure you'll be "wealthy as a teenager" soon.

I'm 14
I babysit, tutor, sell things on Ebay, and get allowance from my parents.
I get around $80 a week, not much for an adult but it makes a teenager like me happy.
Try to go around and find odd jobs like me. I told my mom I want to make money, so she went around asking her friends if their kids needed a tutor. If you're not that smart how much sports/instrument lessons. Try looking around for jobs right now, but it might be hard. It's almost summer and teens started looking for jobs since March. |

Try local stores!
Such as...
My town has:
Sonic,
Kroger,
2 dollar stores,
a DQ
and much more.
Also,
try near by towns.
Walmart, or mayflower
would be good ideas!
I hope this helps ;D |

Best bet is start out small. Unless you have great connections like a rich daddy but even rich kids start out small. I think that you have a job, buy some sellable products like slightly used mp3's, get them repaired by a cheap repairer and sell them with a 10% increase for self! =) it's an idea but I think it would be alright. |

There are really not many "good jobs" that teenagers who have no experience can get. You just have to apply at different places and take whatever you get. |

Read stuff like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. It's been on the New York Times bestsellers list for over 7 years. It's all about what the Rich teach their kids that the middle class don't know about. |

Find the closest mom and pop restaurant .
Start busing tables .
Pay attention to the servers and learn fast .
When an opening for a server comes up ,
Apply for it .
Have an excellent service attitude because ,
That is when you get the big tips .

you can wait until you're 16 since people hire at 16 mainly.
in the mean time, just pick up some easy mowing jobs or babysitting. |

If your about to tur 16 don't expect to get a whole lot of money really quick because of the fact that the job that you'll get it probably going to be part time because of school and everything a teenager has.
However whatever you do make sure you like it alot, cuz then you'll stick to it and save more money in the long run to get what you want. |

You will want to do jobs no one esle wants to do.. Thier is plenty of work in landscape maintenance... I.E.. Lawn-mowing.. Weeding... Pulling weeds... yard care.. field cleanup... Get a weedwacker and go door to door and you will find business... Many people dont have time to take care of thier outside yards, fields, and lawns.. Once they see that your a good worker, they will call you back to do other things.. and then get referrals from them.. Get a card made up...
Helping old people with odd jobs... Getting thier groceries, or what ever from the store.. You will be a Go-for boy.....
This will also teach you allot about taking care of your customer and general business....
Remember.. Theirs plenty of work to be done out thier.. Most families just dont have time to take care of allot of different types of jobs around thier house.. Or in them because of thier busy schedule...
Thats where you come in... |
