The accumulation of wealth has more to do with how you manage your money than how much you bring in. Lots of people with high incomes are almost 'dirt poor' because of their excessive accumulation of dept. Here's the difference - wealthy people put their money back into circulation, in other words, they invest it into income making opportunities. They don't buy a car on debt, they invest in a business asset that can be depreciated while earning income. They don't purchase property, they again invest in an income producing asset (pays rent, appreciates in value). Many people with liquid wealth do not show it off with a lot of pointless, non income producing possessions such as a fancy sports car, expensive clothing or useless junk. They indulge in very little that does not add to their wealth. |

once u get your paycheck,
1) take money out for bills
2) take money out for food
3) put a certain amount in a savings account ($50-$75)
4) save a little for spending money
every paycheck, put the same amount in the savings account.
eventually, after years, you'll have a lot more money than you think. |

Open a saving account which compounds your interest.
This should be money that you do not need to touch. AND
DON'T! Pay yourself first when you get your paycheck.
When you have enough money for a good cushion, then,
you can consider spreading out into other more riskier
types of investments that yield a higher return.
Spend a good amount of time reading about the different
types of financial vehicles available, and the pros and cons.
Learn as much as you can!
Consider joining an investment club.
It takes discipline, knowledge of the financial market,
and luck. Be wary of people telling you abut guaranteed
returns on high risk investments. Be alert for scams.
It can be quite an enjoyable trip.

Learn to live frugally and make your money work for you. Don't follow the drones who will placate themselves with pointless "toys" such as the big car, fancy house, diamond ring and still be working at 60 years old to pay them off. Choose to live in a small apartment, with low bills and live a modest life. The reason I say so is because your rewards will come later in life and you'll be able to retire a millionaire if you've followed my plan to a tee. I don't have enough space to write it up here, but it worked for my father and it's working for me.
