Your old enough to Babysit in other peoples homes. Make up some fliers and pass them around the neighborhood on peoples front doors, make sure if someone hires you, have your mom and dad meet them 1st....just in case. Or if you have a lawnmower, lawnmowing is REAL good money!! My girls used to go to the elderly in the neighborhood and see if they had any housecleaning to do, also makes good money. You'll figure out what you like...than go for it!! I have faith in you!! Have a Prosperous Summer!! |

you could busboy for a restaraunt or babysit. ebay not a good idea. it always depends on the item and chance. if no one buys what you listed you have to pay ebay a fee. even if someone does buy it you still have to pay the fee. sometimes things dont balance out |

You can try the ebay thing, many people do it and quite successfully!
You can also try some of the following ideas:
* pooper scooper (for people's yards)
* mild house cleaning (windows, help fold laundry, sweep, mop, vacuum)
* "mother's helper"
* paper route
* depending on where you're at, gather things to sell at a recycle center (requires minimal investment)
* yard work
* babysitting (the YMCA and the Red Cross both offer excellent classes that will boost your "babysitting credentials" with parents who haven't tried you out before)
* litter pick up (requires minimal investment)
* pick a craft, make it, sell it
* hold classes to teach younger kids. If you have a friend to join you, you can offer a series of weekly classes to teach younger kids how to make simple crafts that you find on the Internet (i.e.: home made play dough, handprint tee shirts, flower pot wind chimes, etc.) Charge parents $40 (plus your costs for supplies - figure THOSE out BEFORE you advertise) for four, one-hour sessions (one a week, or even four days a week) where they can drop off their kids to create a craft, get your supplies ready (including INSTRUCTIONS) and put out the word. The more you offer this, the more popular it will become.
These are just a few ideas and many of them have low requirements as far as initial money needed to get started. Some tips from helping my own sons work out new business ideas over the last two or three years:
* Put out flyers at least 3 times a week
* Create a uniform for yourself and wear it with every job you take on
* be prepared - have a list of what you need for each part of the job and check it faithfully before getting started for the day in question
