The iPod and $100 shoes are unnecessary expenses for unnecessary material things. The school supplies should be provided by the parents. Your cousin should spend her time studying and preparing for school. |

There are lots of ways. Ask the parents if you can do extra chores or there are lawns to be mowed and yards to clean and rake. |

I babysit, but I see others have said that. I'm also 13, and I am lost too. My parents give me like $30 for cleaning house, $20 for washing the SUV inside and out, stuff like that. I also find a LOT of old change around the house and people have some that they don't want anymore and I bring that to like Bi-Lo and put it in those change counters. My bank also has one that doesn't take tax out of it like the other one does. Maybe yours does too. |

At such a young age babysitting is definitely her best bet. She could also try earning money for doing time consuming house hold chores such as mowing lawns or caring for gardens. |

When I was 13 I working detailing limo's for a local company, its hard work but I made 50 bucks a limo and that was 15 years ago now a days pay is alot better. just a though most companys would rather pay a young teen off the books rather than a professional for double the price. |

Well I dont' know where you live so I dont' know what kinda laws they have in place for underage working....but when I was her age I had a paperroute....it was a really good job so I guess I would suggest she go to the newspaper and see if they are willing to hire someone her age to deliver the paper. Good Luck. |

paper route. recycle cans. rake leaves. mow lawns. weed out gardens. paint garages. sweep the sidewalk of businesses for a small fee. |

I suggest that your cousin try going around the neighbor hood that she know of course and see if there is anything misc that she can do like: wash their cars, help with the yard work, walk their pets, babysit, help them organize, try tutoring younger children.
GOOD LUCK! |

well getting that much money will take time.
try babysitting
mowing the neighbour's lawn
walking dogs
lemonade stands
part time job at a fast food restaurant
tons of little things to make a little bit of money, but your cousin has to know that they wont make all of that money in like a week |

This is the best answer.
Also, everyone here said babysitting. aybe I'm crazy but I wouldn't let a 13 year old watch my baby unsupervised. |

Hey! i got lucky, because im 15 with my mom. but since you are 13 i would say you can do chores for your family and other people just lind a hand for people that need help. and just start off askin for smmall bucks and then start raising your prices.
but you also can do babysitting or washing cars!! that would be fun and you will be making fast money |
