There are several companies that will help you with down payment assistance to buy your house. There are even a few that have grant to help-not to be confused with a loan that you have to pay back. I live in California and Wachovia Bank (don't know if this is a national bank or not) is offering grants for down payment assistance for qualified buyers. Check with your local lending association or Realtor for possibilities in your area. Good luck! |
