well, i get 20 bucks for doing the laundry. :)
+ 10 bucks for cooking once a week, not like mac a cheese though, proper meals..
you'll find that if you cook proper meals, parents are much more willing to give you money, rather than if you just slap some toast with some cheese on a plate, and call it dinner. then ask for money... haha.

alright. If you dont have anything to do on the weekends, go to craigslist.com and sell all of your crap that you want to get rid of for reasonable prices. you dont really need an acount. Anyways or you can sell your video games if you have any that you do not play. Or you can also just go work and do some general labor such as mowing lawns, washing cars, washing windows, powerwashing cement, shoveling snow, picking weeds. Im sure your parents could make a few flyers for you and go hand them out at your neighborhood neighbors lol its all limitless. Just act and find something to do. Or just google ways to make money teen or something to that effect. Hope this helps and happy holidays. |

Ask at local stores if you can take out the trash to the trash bins. Crush cardboard boxes. Shop for homebound ederly or handicapped people. Ask if you can moniter smaller kids at the park for their moms. Escort smaller kids to rides or like to seaworld or Six Flags or other theme parks. I would have paid someone to take my kids when they were too young to drive and I had to work. Expect parents to be skeptable though. I certainly was over protective of my kids so start with people who know you. Care for kids in the church nursery. Some pay you. I'd probably have you as a second person with an older person in charge due to liability though. That is reality so work with it. As you become known, people will call for you if they know you are trustworthy and responsible.
Offer to rake leaves. Sweep sidewalks. Carry off larger objects for older people or women.
wash or wax and vacuum cars. trim the lawn with a weed eater.
mulch shrubs or flowers. Store potted plants in the gaarage for the winter.
Clean up flower beds.
Drain and store water hoses for the winter.
Pet sit for people who are going on trips. Put out fresh water and food. Walk dogs. play with cats or dogs every day so they don't tear up the house when they are alone.
House sit by watering plants, feeding fish, emptying trash and the kitty litter, change light bulbs. Turning lights on in different areas while people are on trips. Pick up mail and papers for people who are out of town.
Get to know divorced parents. Dad gets them every other week end. Offer to teach the kids card games, board games. Badmitten. Throw a softball to junior. Help him find a bat and glove that fits. Have dad take you to Acamady or other sports store and do rock climbing.
Tutor kids in their weak areas. Math, English, Spelling. Do flash cards. Teach a kid to tell time. Read to kids. You could be Rent a Tutor.
Make a list of activities you can do and price each activity for 15 min. or whatever. Add your name, phone number and pass it out to everyone in the neighborhood. You could be Rent a Kid. Shine shoes in a barber shop. Sweep up hair in a barber or beauty shop.

Check with the newspaper company and see if you can do a newspaper route.
Ask your parents if you can do extra chores around the house for more money. Like, you mop once a week for ten dollars. Sweep for five. Get creative.
Do jobs around the city. It's winter. Start shoveling. There used to be a kid that was a year older than me who would shovel our sidewalk and about twenty steps and porch for ten dollars.
Babysit. That's the major one. Tell your parents to tell people at their work they trust that you'll babysit, and you'll have tons of jobs. They can pay from 3 to 6 dollars an hour sometimes. |

dont steal :[ thats not worth the punishment. you can tell your neighbors you are looking for baby sitting, dog walking, grass mowing, car washing jobs cause youre trying to start a savings account. adults like contributing to that kinda stuff. one time i made brownies and cupcakes and went door to door and sold them for a dollar. it was an easy 20 bucks and a ******* good time cause people were like what the **** go away you stupid little girl |

do yardwork for people i.e in the spring and summer mow lawns, in the fall rake leaves and the winter shovel snow. I used to make 60-80 dollars a week mowing yards. If you want to get ambitious with this you could make alot more even. Put some flyers out in the neighborhood. When you are 15 you can get a part time job if you get a work permit from school.
You could try selling things on E-bay if you have anything you want to get rid of or you could ask your parents to have a garage sale where you can sell some of your old things.

You're 14, so no, you won't have much money. At 15.5 in most states, you can get a work permit, and start applying for jobs. But, at this point, you don't need money for anything. Have patience and enjoy it. |

ok. so first i would just like to say that u can make money when ur 14. i did! i was rakin' in the dough at 14 so for that freak up there who said u can't and u don't need to, u just back off. k? second u can make money by doing laundry or babysitting of really anything. so just work ur hardest and u will achieve ur goal. good luck! |
