I think if you open an IRA at your bank you can withdraw the money without a penalty if you use the money for college. You can have the money automatically transferred to it from your bank account every week or month, whatever you choose. Talk to your bank about it. |

Set up a bank account at a bank other than the one you frequent. Have a set amount taken from your paycheck each pay period and deposited there. And stay out of that account! |

work, then put your money in a savings account, then try to not go eating in restaurants ( make your own food) , if you have a cellphone downgrade and get a lesser paying contract, and finally if you have to then take out a loan ( as a last resort) |

A simple question for a complex answer.
So much depends on your situation and what financial responsibilities you have.
If your parents are supporting you try to save every penny you earn.
If you have to support yourself, try to save 25 % more than you have been saving. It will add up quickly.
Good luck. If you want better answers ask more detailed questions.
I hope I helped. |

Tell us a bit more in detail about the situation you are in, and we can try to suggest better answers. The best answer to your current question is - as another person said - spend on needs, not wants.
Give in sincere Charity. God will multiply the amount you give in charity and return it to you. Think of all the people in the world who dont have food, running water, clothes, a home... think of them before you swipe your card for A&F. Be content with what you have, and stop trying to match your friends in the way they show off - the stuff they have, and the way they are. Be proud of yourself with what you have - and how much you save. |
