the other option is for them to send you a money order/Cashiers check and wait and make sure its good before you send the merchandise.
only other option is if you accept credit card or paypal.

Have you ever checked into using PayPal? It would be free for him to send the money to you. If you withdraw the money and the withdrawal amount in less that $150 CAD then you pay .50 CAD, if it is more than $150 CAD then there is no fee. You would both just need to set up paypal accounts and let him know the email address you are doing business with to send the money. |

the ability to "draft" your clients account is a service your bank can provide you however there is a charge for it that you should discuss with them. Your customer could set up a service at their bank so that they can direct deposit into your account but I wouldn't hold your breath as they would be charged for that. Wires can be expensive so check out the fees for that as well. If your client has online banking, some form of bill pay may be an option but you would probably actually end up receiving a check by mail since it sounds like you do not currently receive any electronic payments. I don't know too much about paypal. Good luck. |

The fee is very minimal at any US bank, like 15 or 20 USD. Tell him to pay the fee as this is the only payment method your company will accept. |
