Hi - not sure what the legal age is to work where you are but usually from 14 or 15+ you might find a job in, say, a burger or pharmacy or grocery store. Remember that there will be deductions (tax etc) so aim for $1250.00 in 5 weeks - $250 per week. If you can find a job for $10 per hour @ 5 hours per day for 5 days each week - you're there! Just make sure that you are allowed to work based on your age.

I would look for something with tips like delivering pizzas. Stay AWAY from any job that wants you to sell toys, books, ties, flowers, etc business to business. Those jobs are scams. They brainwash you into thinking you will have your own business in a few short weeks, but the truth is no one gets rich selling cookbooks door to door.

Well, I made over $1,000 in TWO weeks when I was 15..
I worked at Ben & Jerry's making $8.00/hr.
I did put in 80 regular hours and 33 overtime hours those two weeks though...so...
I don't know what happened to the child labor laws that summer, but I didn't care, the money was awesome... =]
