You could babysit. Make jewelry and sell it. Have an older sibling or parent help you set up an ebay account and sell dvds or games you don't want anymore. You could also talk to local businesses, restaurants or retail stores, and see if any of them would be willing to hire you for extra help, like bussing tables or helping restock for a few hours each afternoon. If you keep your eyes open to opportunities, you will be able to make the money in 6 months for sure. |

It depends on where you live... I know in Oklahoma City, OK you can get a work permit around that age, and you can work at the Oklahoman (newspaper) selling subscriptions for commission (you get paid by how many you sell, at a set amount per paper)... Check around where you live, there are lots of places that do this, such as newspapers, candy sales places (like the ones that you sell for school), etc.... Don't tell us where you live, by the way... It's too easy for people to find you online! |

If you live in a city, why not go to a sporting event and sell soda in the parking lot for 1 dollar per can? If you look around you can usually find those deals where you can buy 3 -12 packs for 10 bucks which you could then make 36 bucks off it.
You could also go to apartment complexs and dig through the trash and recycle all the aluminum cans. (I know a guy & his son that do this and they average about 90 dollars per day with 4 1/2 hours of digging thru trash.) |
