It's autumn, rake two people's leaves for $25 each.
Edit: If you really want to make money, get together with a few of your friends. Each of you get adults to pledge money for a "charity" car wash (like they do for cancer walks, etc) for your "organization" to help pay for a trip or something, make something up. So each person you sign pledges 10 cents per car or something. Cap it at 100 cars (so if they pledge 10 cents per car, the most they'd have to contribute is $10, easy).
Then borrow some liquid soap, some sponges and towels from your parents, and make some signs for a FREE car wash. You will get 100 cars easy in one Saturday.
Then go around and collect. If you each get 10 people to pledge 10 cents each, congratulations, you just made $100. if you get 10 people to pledge 25 cents each, you just made $250. If you each get 25 people to pledge 25 cents each, you just made $625. The key is to sign up as many people as possible (get your parents to sign people up at work, hahahah).
Or you could just rake leaves. |

mowing the grass, offering to do errands for older folk, babysitting. All those type of tasks will help you make your money. Distributing paper/paper route would also be good.
Can ask mom and dad if you can work extra around the house in exchange for money you want. Also, pass out slips to neighbors telling them you will work for so much per hour to do tasks. Dog walking, etc. All helps. Ask mom if it is ok to do these things. |

Rake leaves, mow lawns or even offer to buy groceries (customers money) for senior citizens.
Note:
Using your lawn mower $15.00 (large areas $20.00)
Customer lawn mower: $10:00 to $15.00
Rake leave & bagged: $15.00
Purchasing groceries: $5.00 per 1/2 hour.
Good job. |

You didn't say how old you are. But if you are old enough to use a lawn mower. You could go in your neighborhood and ask to cut lawns. It generally pays 35-40 buck for the back and front yards. More for large yards. More to trim hedges. Or if there are no yards you could offer to take trash out for 10 - 15 dollars a week with the money up front. Dog walking also pays between 5-10 bucks per pet a day. raking leaves out of yards is usually 10 dollars a yard (usually the front yard only). washing cars 10.00, trucks 10-15 dollars, cleaning out someone's garage... you could negotiate the fee for that (mine is so full) I'm paying my neighbors son 50 dollars just to haul the big stuff. You could also ask parents, aunts, uncles, grandfolk, and other relatives if they had anything(legal) you could do to make money. |

Knock on the doors of your neighbors, and tell them you are trying to make 50.00. Is there any work that you can do for them to obtain your goal.
Clean anything?
Help with household chores
Mow, rake the lawn
Help plant flowers, etc
wash car
walk dog
Have a yard sale, maybe stuff you do not want anymore, and your parents.
You could also print on a piece of paper, work wanted and
leave in their mailbox with your name and phone number.
Good Luck...and I bet your neighbors will be happy!!
We used to have kids in our neighborhood, quess they are all grown, like my son........sure wish someone would leave me a note in the mailbox or knock on my door.I need yard done. Garage cleaned up, etc, etc.
Congraduations, you are a very wonderful young man. |

If you are 10 or over, and strong, you might get your parents to help you watch the obits for a death. After the funeral, there are almost always folks who need help to move stuff out of the deceased's home into a truck for disposal at dump or landfill. If you are old enough to drive and have a truck, you could easily make at least $200 a week, even in a small town, and may come up on some real treasure which the inheritors regard as trash. I know this sounds a bit morbid, but that is often a real need, as many times the deceased has no family living nearby, and those who have come for the funeral do not have time or the proper vehicle to clean out trash.
You could actually start a pretty good little business if you could get references from pastors, priests, etc. and from funeral home personnel. |
