I have been saving money for years, and i think the key to saving money is to question yourself if you really need this or not. For Example: You see a Plasma TV at the store knowing you have a good working decent sized TV at home. Do you really need this overpriced TV? Or you dont? |

- "Tax" yourself. Put 20 % of all your compulsive expenses at the bank in a savings account |

try giving part of your money to a person you trust (a sister or even your mother) so that you cannot touch it. or, i know it sounds kind of childish, but get a piggy bank that you cant open unless its broken and put your money in there, you wont be able to get to it until you NEED it. |

i wouldnt let anyone else touch my cash. i would hide it somewhere in my room where i wouldnt forget and only keep enough money on you so you no you will get by. and after you put money into savings DO NOT no matter what take it back out again. it works for me. i put it all back and keep about 15 dollars on me. |

well you get cash, keep it in a piggy bank of your own creation and store it somewhere private and dont dare take it out to spend. ask your parents for what you need and make without what you dont need. if you get checks, cash them in and store in piggy bank. |
