You have to be careful for signing up for a free credit report from places like freecreditreport.com. When you request a report from them, they put you into their credit monitoring program that is free for the first month and $12.99 each additional month. You will be charged if you don't cancel. By law, you are allowed one free credit report per year from each of the major credit bureaus: TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. You may visit their websites, call, or write them to receive your free yearly report. |

You can get them once every year from freecreditreport.com.
If you are ever denied credit, you are legally entitled to one from the agency that denied you. Check the denial letter, it will list addressess and other relevant info. |

This is really easy. There are three credit reporting agencies. You are supposed to get four free credit reports in a year. But you can't get from their web site. I'm sorry I've forgotten the URL. I'm sure another yahoo member would have the answer. |

The only thing it does not give you is your credit score. But it gives you all the information regarding your credit. You are only allowed on free report from each of the three major reporting agencies |

You can go directly to the 3 credit reporting agencies and get your report 1 time per year for free. I've done it the last couple years. |

If you are a resident of a state or possession or territory in the US, go to www. annualcreditreport.com. Any other site will charge you money. By federal law and state law in some cases, you are entitled to a free credit report each year - that does NOT include your credit score, which each site will try to sell you.
You are also entitled to a free credit report from the agency that supplied credit information used to deny you credit. |

If you ever apply for something and are turned down they will send you a letter in the mail explaining why and what credit agency they used. It tells you in that letter how to get your free report. You can get one everytime you are denied credit but you have to do it through the actual credit agency. There are three diff. ones, Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. Good luck |

it is because of this system human being created, but i credit my ownself because no one knows me but me, and plus, because of the corrupted systems, your credits will always come poor like me.. what i want to know who is taking credit of me, "credit from it's root word, is when you loan or you owe" it has a different meaning here.. they act like God, crediting people, but if you look into their credits or lives:) it is another story... |
