another route to go is to a supermaket that has coinstair
the machine will count your coins for you (with a small fee)
but will issue vocher which you take to the cashier who will exchange it for cash then you take the cash to the bank
even some banks have the coinstair machine inside their branches

Depends on the bank. Mine you need an account with the bank. I never had to write my name on the rolls. You can bring them to stores, they are usually happy to take them |

Each bank has they're own rules. That's why some banks require you put your name/acct number on the rolls, in case you short a roll by a few coins. Call 'em first. Truly, they should not require you roll the coins at all....they'll do that for free (which is good for them, as they can't be shorted, and good for you, for saving all of that time!). I wouldn't use Coinstar (the machines that'll count it for you). The fees are way high! Good luck! |

You go to your bank, put coins on the counter, put deposit slip on counter and say 'I has coins, you put in my check account'. Simple as pie. Make sure they are full rolls and get a stong bag to carry them. They are HEAVY!! Lol. |

When we take ours in.. we give them to the teller... we tell them what amount we counted but they will still count it.. then they will give you bills..>> no name and number isnt needed , if your going to deposit it.. you will get a deposit slip.. other wise your done.. |

That is pretty much what you have to do. Each bank have a different way of doing things when it comes to something like that. Just as a backup, prepare to bring a pen, the deposit slip and your rolls and await the teller's instruction. You don't really want to put anything on the rolls unless they tell you to do so. This way the teller and you are the 'witness' to what's happening to your rolls. |

You have to have an account at the bank. My hubby and I have done this before - they put our coins in a bag and said they would be counted after the bank closed and it would take a day or two for that deposit to be verified and show up in our account. |

DO NOT ROLL THEM! REPEAT DO NOT ROLL THEM! If you bring rolls in the bank will simply unroll them and run them through the machine. Just put them in a jar take them to a bank and have them run them for cash or deposit it. Depending on the bank you may have to have an account or you might get a fee. |

take the rolled coins into the bank and hand the rolls to the banker/teller. they will count the rolls and give you the amount that they are worth. its simple =] |
