here's what you do. are you listening? you might want to write this down.
ok. you know that paycheck you get? every week or 2 weeks or whatever..
well, you take that money. and listen now. take that money and pay your bills. make sure you pay off at least the minimum payment on your cards, and if you can afford it, send more. |

There is an alternative and that is credit counseling. They will pay your debt for you and your credit would be clear in 3 years. The only hitch is that you have to usually give up your credit cards unless you need one for business purposes. |

The only way is to start paying off your debts one by one. Start by paying as much as possible off the smallest one first, then when that is paid go to the next smallest one. Continue until all cleared. Best of luck. |

Without knowing the amount you owe, the interest rate, and how much you can pay each month, its hard to answer that.
You could try talking to a debt/credit counselor who will develop a plan with you to get it paid off |

make your payments on time (or early) and pay more than the minimum. it'll cut back on your interest over time which in turn shortens the time it takes to pay back any loans or balances. do your best to stay ahead of the game. live simply. you don't have to be poor, but do your best to use your funds for payments and necessities. don't break yourself by making huge payments constantly, but getting a head start will make a difference in the long run. good luck! |

1. Consolidate all of your debt into the lowest-interest loan that you can find
2. Do not increase your debt unless you absolutely have to - I'm talking life and death and dentists!!
3. Spend less than you earn, putting the difference into your loan.
- I find that I need to use a 'Clayton's budget' which means that you get your employer to transfer your wages into a couple of different accounts. For us, we had an 'everyday' account and an online saving account. The saving account would accumulate and if we ended up with zero in our everyday account - too bad... just sucked it up and go5t on with it.
So you could consolidate your loan and have $50 per week transferred into it automatically...
