How do wealthy people pay their bills? because if you have lots of cars and houses it would be time consuming

Nette
They hire a personal assistant to take care of those things.

Smiles :)
They hire people for that. They do not do it on their own. I work in the wealth management field with weathly individuals portfolios. Many of them have personal assistants that do everything from bills to groceries to managing appointments and meetings...must be nice...

Have your accountant do it for you

Direct payment. That's what it's there for. Then their accountant and tax lawyers will periodically make sure they haven't been screwed.

Inquisitive
They hire a billing service to pay all their bills and balance there check book.

leets69
Most of their bills are probably paid directly by their banks through a draft system. A lot of people who aren't wealthy pay their bills that way too.

I would imagine that if I were wealthy enough to not worry about money but not wealthy enough to have an accountant, I would pay for cars/electronics/furniture/etc with cash (well, more than likely on a check card). I would then have all the recurring bills that can't be paid up front (such as utilities) paid out of a bank account automatically every month. That would cut down things that actually need attention to just the things I'd have to borrow for, such as houses. (I'm personally unlikely to get wealthy enough to pay for a house in cash, not living in California anyway.)

That's why they pay someone to do it for them like an accountant.

de bossy one
not for them, but their accountants and tax lawyers make good money keeping them from paying any taxes at all! rich people don't pay taxes, they pay professionals to keep them from paying any.
a simple example: a maid takes care of the house- result, all cleaning supplies, pots and pans, plus the wages and benefits paid are deducted as business expenses due to having an employee. any wonder how the rich get richer?

wealthy people can afford accountants, bookeepers or "side-kicks" that keep track of all of there krap. I know a guy who has one, lady gets all of his stuff done, including payroll for his company, in about 6 hours. This guy has about 30 units, a business, a cottage, and a 15000 sq ft home

ReplicantZer0
They hire someone and pay them to do it. Like a personal financial advisor.

They often say that the wealthy are just janitors of their possesions!
Personallly, all of my regular bills, phone, electric, etc, are either auto-drafted from my bank or automatically charged to my credit card, which consolidates them and I just review them once a month. Mortgages come right out, and I paid cash for all of my vehicles.

If you have eneough dinero, just hire somebody to pay your bills.

I have the true answer.
i would not worry about the wealthy, if it would be that bad they would not choose to be wealthy.

Accountant for the mundane stuff like electric etc.

For cars and things, probably pay cash or outright, so no need for monthly bills.

blue_cow27
My guess is either they pay everything in full when they get it, or they hire someone to do their finances for them.
