Read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. It was a required text book in the 50's. Principles used by Ford and Eisenhower to name a few are detailed. The trick is do what you are completely and tirelessly passionate about. |

Live in a world of false scarcity. Which means that you tell yourself (and spend accordingly) that you actually have less than you do and so end up saving the extra which grows and collects interest (invest it in RRSPs, or other things that bring higher rates of return).
Live within a budget and not over spend. Too many people are ready to buy everything that everyone else just to keep up with society. Buy what you really DO need and avoid spending on the wants that just aren't necessary.
I've used a program (CalendarBudget.com) that lets me see in the future on any given day how much money would be in my account. Decide the amount you think is = to "rich". If you have more money than you need for your expenses... then that is rich in today's society. People like to go into debt to have so many things to appear rich... but they really don't own those things... the bank or loan person does. Enjoy financial freedom by not overspending... use the program to see if you're overspending on different categories. |

Find something you are good at (helps if you like it also) that has the potential to earn you "rich" kind of money.
- It's nice that you are good at playing video games, but it's not going to ever make you "rich" kind of money.
Then....work your *** off at it. |

Educate yourself on what others have done to become rich such as Donald Trump. Studies show that your greatest opportunity at becoming a millionaire is investing in real estate. Your second investment should be starting or purchasing a business and keeping your profits in real estate. With a lot of education in stocks you could invest in the stock market. Robert Kiyosaki in one of his books keeps his savings in high yield bonds until he invests it into businesses or Real Estate.
