paid for item on e bay using pay pal, money gone out of my account, not received goods. Item does not appear in 'my e bay' or on my pay pal account. Seller stopped trading and all recent feedback negative ie you f****** thief! I have the e mails from e bay and pay pal to say I bought the goods, but as they don't appear in my accounts I can't leave feedback etc. Been looking for a way to contact e bay but all I can see is information pages? |

I think it's too late for "spoof.' I would contact eBay "Safe Harbor" or any other eBay contact point to which you can begin to dispute your account takeover.
All of us, unfortunately will require email communication as I am not aware of any telephone number associated with eBay.
As and old-timer on eBay, I am terribly sorry to hear about your situation. |

Paypal will only get you your money back if the seller has left sufficient funds in his account.
Raise a non-receipt of goods with them is all you can do, but i don't think you will see a penny back. |

Skip eBay and open a buyer dispute through Paypal. Their system is top notch for getting your money back - I've been thru this many times!! Good luck! |

try signing into your paypal account and check your account history and especially set around the date you paid for it. when you find it, you can open up a buyer complaint. but if for some reason you can't find it. check the e-mails you supposedly got from paypal and check the links to "paypal" because unless it says "https://www.paypal.com" its possible you paid through a fraudulent paypal website. in which case you could try looking up the help section of ebay. |

do what i did, find the email in a google search of the CEO of ebay and email her. dude, it WORKS!! i tried going through all the LEVELS of BS ebay makes you WADE through!! they didn't have the right responses, questions etc... so, i "moved up the food chain to the top dog" my sitch was resolved and my 100% positive feedback undamaged.

You can dispute the transaction, and since the seller seems fraudulent, it should be easy. I don't remember where, but in My Ebay, there is a way to dispute it. Good luck. |

hi, i am an ebay seeler myself and you need to find the transaction through paypal and open up a dispute and try to claim the money back that way but if like you said the seller has stopped trading altogether and closed down his sight you my be knackered. Also report it through ebay as an item not received, they may be able to track him down especially if he has another ebay account open.good luck. |

Something similar happened to me; I bought what I thought was a Mariah Carey CD but it ended up being a bootleg!
I had to go and contact customer service at eBay. I got my money back and that person's account was suspended.
Next time you buy from someone on eBay, make sure that they have a high positive feedback rating. Look at the ratio of positive, neutral and negative feedback and see what people wrote about them. |

If it's gone out of your account, open a dispute with Paypal. I had a problem not long ago, the person didn't want to refund the money, but Paypal got it back for me. Don't see why they wouldn't for you as well, especially as you have a paypal receipt. |
