The point of having a Swill Bank account is that they are anonymous. There is no legal way for a citizen to find out. A police agency, or a Government can get this info, but even they have to show just cause. |

most Swiss accounts are numbered not named. if she doesn't tell you or if you cant find any paperwork forget it. the Swiss banks are very secretive. that's why people hide money there. |

I doubt if those information will be given to you... Those are highly kept confidential. You need to have the Special Power of Attorney to ask the bank and verify it with them. |

What the first answerer said is probably all you can do.
If I'm not mistaken, Swiss bank accounts are numbers - not names. The names are not given out - unless your stepmom is deceased, and left a will. You should check out Swiss Bank accounts on the web - you could also call a regular bank, and see what they know. |
