"Rich" is a relatively, Some people would feel rich if they could go to the grocery store every week and fill up their cart with whatever they wanted. For other people to feel rich they need to have social status or power over people or events.
I think the best measure of wealth is "net worth", which means the dollar value of everything you own minus the dollar value of everything you owe. A net worth of a million dollars is certainly not what it was 10 years ago but that is probably starting to be rich for many people who work for a living. |

I think we are rich if we are not hungry, when weather is hot we are able to make ourselves comfortably cool, when weather is cold we are comfortably warm. We can educate our children and have a roof above our heads.Elderly and sick people are well taken care of.We help each other and very contented.That I call it rich. Funny thing is this. $ 20,000.00 annual income people struggle. $200,000.00 annual income people do struggle too. If get more money want more things.I know one couple with combined income of $ 300,000.00 and live in beautiful house, driving beautiful cars, goes abroad for vacations,look real rich but they are in debt up to eyeball. That's a interesting question. Being rich is a persons perception, there's no definition for how much a person has to have to be considered "rich". I consider many people rich that don't consider themselves rich because I don't own much. I don't think being rich makes a person happy. |

Well when you have PAID OFF All Your bills, and owe unthing to anyone. Also have a paid for roof over your head , good medical plan, and transportation owning clearly. Still have money coming in to live comforble on . You should feel Rich. |
