Well depends on many expenses you have! I personally would be borrowing like crazy. Hitting the local churches for food donations. Taking the city bus or walking place (could never afford gas). And the dollar store is good for essentials (soap/deodorant etc). |

is this your monthly allowance? that would mean you have to spend $20 per week, $2.85 per day. i don't think you could live with this amount per day. you should ask for more. |

I ran an extension cord out to a tent that had sleeping bags and a tiny fridge and electric burner. Water was in 2ltr bottles and we had use of shower and toilet inside. We ate a lot of mush for breakfast (boiled cornmeal) flavored with whatever we could come up with. Lunch was homemade veggie soup and homemade biscuits. Dinner was hot dogs or spagetti or very stretched meatloaf. We lived on 150.00 a month for three people and one on the way. 50.00 for electric and bathroom privilges, 100.00 food & diapers.
We did save for that downpayment and it was kind of fun. |

I would say.....live with your parents. There is NO way to live on $100 a month. |

1. get rid of your car! (insurance, car payments, and GAS eat that $100 right there)
2. don't buy any food without a coupon and be prepared to buy mac n cheese (and get FAT from a non nutrious diet).
3. don't ever go out for fun, buy anything that isn't a complete necessity for yourself, and definetly not for anyone else.
4. just kill yourself from the boredom now. |

Why do you only have $100 a month. I would say get a job. Even at McDonald's you make more than $100 a month. Is it only one month that you have to this?
Do you have housing? I mean explain a little more...
Eat from scratch. buy flour and milk and some eggs and you can make a lot of stuff with that. Just basics drink water (tap water) don't go out, don't drive, take the bus if you have to. This might be the time to loose some weight just kidding |

There is absolutely no way to live on a budget of $100 per month. Unless of course you are living with your parents. It will take at least $900 per month to be out on your own and that is cutting it awfully close. |

1. Move into a homeless shelter. You will have free shelter and a few meals. Plus, these places tend to be in city centers, so you can likely get to and fro fairly easily with minimal transportation costs.
2. Go to the Y and get a free trial membership. You will have a locker to store stuff and access to showers.
3. What meals you do not get through the homeless shelter can be supplemented with bananas and NAB's. However, each day, treat yourself to ONE item from McDonald's dollar menu (or another chain's), preferably the double cheeseburger because that will give you the most bang (calories) for your buck.
4. Volunteer at Goodwill so that you can scout out for good clothes.
5. At this point, you have food, clothing, shelter, transportation costs are minimal, access to bathing and exercise, and social connections (via the Y and Goodwill).
6. Pick up the free city paper in your city and scout out free concerts in the park, free political rallies and demonstrations, etc. that cater to the leftist crowd. Attend these events. Claim that you are an activist/artist, living among the people. Now, you can get a date and probably have a relationship.
7. Start dating a privileged college student who hangs out at the events mentioned in #6. Profess love and suggest shacking up.
8. Once moved in, watch lots of cooking shows and prepare fabulous meals and learn how to be a great lover.
9. You should be able to ride this out for a while. Repeat over and over, eventually graduating to graduate students and landing a spouse. |

I have done that. It is no fun but you can. PB&J's, raman noodles, potatoes, pasta are real versital foods. chicken breasts and ground beef can streach in many dishes very well. Watch for sales on foods that can be made different ways.
No going out to movies, no shopping for fun stuff like clothes and shoes. Quit smoking, drink water it is cheep.
It will suck. But if you are saving for something just think of why it is good to live this way for now. |

Maybe you should be working...$100 a month....If you're a teenager or preteen living and mooching off of dear ol'mom/dad $100 a month allowance should be plenty for you to live on! |

Lots and lots of home cooked meals. Or, if you're not much for cooking, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fruit, salads and instant noodles.
Just remember to stay away from coffee (especially brought from a store), chocolate, gum, chips, and other snacky foods. They'll burn up your money faster than you'll notice.
Also, don't starve yourself to meet your budget. That's dangerous, and if you get to that point, go find a soup kitchen. Your pride is not worth your health.
Good luck! |

Depends on where you are. In the US that's going to be tough. In most 3rd world countries, you'd live like royalty. |
