You asked your question in an invesment forum. So you get an invesment answer.
If you save a quarter and a dime every day, stating today. and put the savings into an index mutual fund a the end of every year, then you will probably be a millionaire when you get old and retire.
You think you need money now? Just wait. You will need much more money as you get older. AND it doesn't get easier to save. By the time you are 21 you'll have to save $5 a day to retire a millionaire.
So you need money for stuff . . .fine . . . but be sure to put that quarter and dime into your piggy bank every day. I am sure your Mom or Dad will find something you can do around the house to earn that fee everyday. |

my 12 year old walked dogs, she did gift wrapping at Christmas time for friends and family as well as for birthdays and special occasions. She would go bottle collecting and cash in the bottles.... mow the lawns or weed just a few things she did |

You can do lots of thing besides baby sitting:
1. Yard work for neighbors
2. House cleaning
3. Window washing (most people hate doing this and will pay $$ to someone who will)
4. Do chores for your parents
5. Painting
Use your imagination. There are lots of way to earn money |

When I was young I made money house sitting when my neighbors were on vacation- I also would feed their dogs & cats if they were not home for some extra money. If you like animals, how about offering to walk dogs for a small fee? You could also try mowing lawns, weeding, raking leaves, etc. You could also try washing cars for a few bucks. If you have things to sell you could make a few bucks selling them on e-bay or you could have a yard sale. You could also offer to seel other people's stuff on e-bay for a small fee if you don't have anything of your own to sell. Good luck! |

Start saving from gift monies from birthdays, etc. Place in
A mutual fund. Let family and friends know of your desire to
earn money. Wash cars, dog washing, window cleaning, Clean, Babysit, file, dog walk, etc--work for parents or/and grandparents or other relatives ...keep adding to the Mutual fund and also after earning money open and IRA or Roth IRA ...saving now in one with the help of dollar average you will do great in retirement years. Great start now...and Great idea ...and credit for you to start now! |
