grow own food, live in a house that uses solar power that is paid off, reuse water by filtration....you could potentially live for 0$ a month put you need to invest alot up front to accomplish that |

No mortgage payment, no utility payments, grow your own food, even make your own clothes, or don't wear any--it's possible, but not likely. I doubt if it's entirely true, unless they live like Trappist monks. |

1. I say clip coupons all the time and buy sale items.
I once helped my family turn a $200 grocery bill into a $80 bill for scan and clipping coupons. trust me it is worth it.
2. Put all coins in a jar then cash them in.
3. Buy out off season clothes for cheap at places like plato's closet
4. research sales online
5.research the lowest gas prices in your area ( don't have to anymore)
6. have a set amount you put away if you have a job like 15%
7. set financial goals |

Let's see - obviously they don't need to worry about housing - either live w/ parents/relatives or free-load on the goverment and our taxes.
Food - snap (food stamps) programs or free food pantries
Gas - I bet that's where the $30 go! |

it can be done. you just got to sacrifice all luxeries. My partner and I survive on $40 pw. But we cook every meal, we make a big lovely soup for lunches at the start of the week, which costs about $5 to make. and lasts 5 days for us both and we have bread with it. And some dinners are cheap, some are more lovely. But it can be done. |

You think that's something. I know a couple who survive on less than that per month. How do they do it? They know every govt. sponsored food hand out place in the city. They know their schedules and they know the best time to go to each. The spend half their waking hours at those places getting food for free. If they're sick, the go to local medical hospital ER's. And they make sure to go during lunch time. Free lunch if you ask for it. They're rent is paid by the welfare department, as well as their utilities. Clothing is obtained through same channels as the free food system. All things considered, the have a busy life. They eat good, sleep good, and are healthy. What they don't have is self-respect. But they wouldn't understand that concept anyway. They are just one of many people who find living off others a challange. Being unproductive to society is a science to them. So what can we do to cure our society of these pests? Absolutely nothing. Just hope and pray that they do not reproduce. |

Im taking it that means their food?
Garden veggies. Shopping with coupons and watching for sales
Buying in bulk and not being picky on eating the same foods. I see on the news where people do things like this once in awhile. Id have to say, I look at the paper and shop deals and never come close to this! |
