No to void a check you write VOID on the check before you give it to someone. What you mean is to do a Stop Payment. Unless he made any written representation to you about the quality of the laptop, i think you're stuck with this purchase. |

Did you screw up? Well you need to talk to the bank on that one. If he has cashed it and not deposited in his bank account just count your money good bye. When you ever buy anything, if you do not have a written warranty you are screwed. |

chances the check allready has cleared..but if not you can put a stop payment on it for about £30 if he allready has the only thing you can do is file a small claims against him..maybe you can end up on 1 of the court shows |
