Try doing some EXTRA chores. Ask your parent if you can do so and so for so and so amounts of money. Or babysit. babysitting is te #1 way to make some green. Donations are another way. Yard sales, and SAVING are good too! |

A cleaning service. Maybe you hate doing your chores at home, but getting paid for doing them is completely different! You could offer complete housecleaning services, or specialize in one or more areas, such as attic/basement/garage cleanups.
A yard maintenance service. There is always something that needs to be done…mowing lawns and weed control in the spring and summer, raking leaves in the fall, and shoveling snow and planting for the spring in the winter.
A car-detailing business. With so many people working multiple jobs and having such busy lifestyles, very few people have the time to really take care of their cars -- and you could offer a weekly or monthly service of washing, waxing, vacuuming, etc.
A pet sitting service. Typically more of a summer business when people tend to go on vacation, but you might be able to have a year-round business by offering pet walking, bathing, cleaning, etc. services.
A PC tutor/Web site development service. Are you a whiz with computers and the Web? Well, many adults are not, and you could make a good business helping people learn to use PCs and develop Web sites for their families -- or for their businesses.
A catering service. Do you enjoy cooking and baking? In these busy times, if you can provide a service that offers well-cooked meals, you could do quite well.
A painting service. If you have some experience -- or there is a few of your friends that want to go in business with you -- you might consider a painting business. People are always renovating…and you could paint exteriors in the nicer months and interiors during the colder months.
An errand, messenger, or delivery service. This idea works best in larger cities where there are more people and public transportation, but these are busy times and people need help with all sorts of errands.
An educational tutoring service. If you have expertise in one or more areas -- music, foreign language, math and science, or others -- you could offer tutoring sessions to children, teens, and adults in your neighborhood.
An online Web business. If you are a master at creating Web pages, perhaps what you need to do is brainstorm a concept for an online business -- where your potential customers can come from anywhere in the world, not just in your local neighborhood.
A freelancing service. If you are truly gifted in a certain field, such as writing, drawing, or photography, consider starting a freelancing business where you sell your wares to various businesses and media outlets.
Good luck! |

I used to mow the neighbors' lawns and do some weeding in their gardens. Raked leaves for them. I was your age then.
Make up a poster/flyer and distribute it in your neighborhood. |

I was about to suggest baby sitting but then i read your additional info...
Well mowing lawns for neighbors has become a craze for kids ages 13 to 15. You can put posters up around the block where you live. Say like "Mikes Lawn Mowing Services"
Most kids that i know are charging about 10 bucks for a medium size lawn and 15 for a large. It sure beats the competitors prices that are charging like 25 or more.
Oh ya, and by the way, you use the house owners lawn mower. Most people have one.
I hope i make you the richest kid on the block... |

search your room for things that could sell on e-bay for a tenner or more and sell all that kind of stuff and you will get a lot of money if you have a very messy cuboard. |

Mow lawns or other yards work. Ask neighbors what you could do for them. There are a lot of elderly people who can't do a lot of things themselves anymore who would pay you, not lots, but reasonably, to do things for them. And it would make you feel good too, to help.
AND,.. you could get your summer tan, too. |

I congratulate you for this spirit .
I''ll tell you something : the most difficult step is the first . But As soon as you begin ; you will discover your self & you will know where do you come from . I hope experienced people of work could lead you to the right , safe place ! |

Open a store on EBay and sell stuff your parents don't want (make sure you ask them first!). Check with family members and collect stuff they don't want either. Ask your parents first because they will need to help get you back and forth to the post office. You can buy stuff at garage sales and resell them for a profit too. I wish I had the internet when I was a kid. I'd be a multi-millionaire by now! |

Ask your parents to raise your allowance. You could also cutback on buying stuff. It depends on how much money you want to make. If you want to make $100, then you can ask your friends with younger siblings if you can babysit them once in a while. I know that you can't find any babysitting jobs that will work, but it takes time to find the perfect job. Wait a while, and you will find the perfect one! |

The best way, the honest way, to make money before you are old enough to work in the work field is to babysit, do lawn work, have a yard sale. If you check, you might be able to get a part-time job at a grocery store packing groceries, or at a
wal-mart being a door greeter, or someone who collects carts. |

BUild a fort made of sheets in your bedroom and then invite your friends over for a slumber party and when they all get there talk their asses off about time shares. lol
Or...mow lawns. Thats what I did. |

You could help out with odds and ends either around the neighborhood or at home. You know, do the dishes, clean some rooms, sweep the floor, set the table, the list goes on and on.
Or if cleaning isn't really your thing, you could mow some lawns, help with gardening (really popular in the spring!) or later, raking leaves.
Think of some things you like to do, and then transform them into a job of some sort that could earn you some money!
Best of luck and have fun! |
