I have heard that it has to be at least 660+ (somewhere in that range) to get 0%, but each dealer has different promotions and requirements. If you are looking for very low interest though I would certainly recommend going through the dealer first (depending on your credit score), because the dealer can shop around and try and find the best rate for you...while going straight to the bank, etc...may not be as beneficial since banks tend to have higher interest rates on auto loans. each financer is different, and depends on car in question
the higher demand cars, say lexus or bmw are going to have higher standards, everyday fords/gm, they are almost giving the cars away, score can be lower |

as in 100% current and always has been current.
no missed payments at all i don't think. that goes the same with a house of course. |

I'm not sure, but if you don't quite make it sometimes a larger down payment can help get a better rate. |

according to this article, if your score is less than 750, you can forget about 0% financing and below 550, don't even bother applying for a car loan at all. |
