ask family an family friends if they ned any work doing like painting etc. I do believe that if you are under 16 you can be hired but for only a set amount of hours per week find this out by talking to a carrears adviser they shoudl be able to give you the right information on this. |

I think the best way is working around the neighborhood. You can work for people who live there, but an even better gig is if there are rental houses in the neighborhood. You may be able to get set up with the Realtor who's renting the house(s) out. Preferably you should have already done some houses that they can check out. It's a great gig because you'll have a steady customer, and it's good for them because you'll almost certainly charge less than some commercial service. My son is doing this and it's working out well for him. |

Sorry, but your options are limited. Mowing lawns, baby sitting, shoveling snow, and that type of thing. You are really not qualified for much else at this point, so you will have to wait a while befor eyou get a work permit and can go bag groceries and stock chelves. |

1. selling old toys / parents' junk on ebay (whilst supervised of course!)
2. newspaper round (legal?)
3. traditional clean cars etc if in safe neighbourhood
4. website design (if any skills?) for local small businesses
5. being nice / helpful at home as 'extra' to being a son! By agreement!!
6. Word processing work for very busy GCSE and A level students / teachers! ;) |

do you want a job, or a get rich quick scheme??
if you want a job then local cafes and such like usually want young dishwashers, K.P's etc.
If you a get rich quick scheme, tidy up and clear out.
All of the stuff you dont use any more, sell it at a car boot sale. Have lots of stuff, resonably priced and you will make a fortune!! |

If you're in England you can get a work permit from your local council that enables you to apply for part time work the same as over 16's can. Your hours will be restricted so as not to interfere with yor schooling but you can generally get a better wage with the permit. |
