metalicgirl69 | How long does Chapter 13 bankruptcy, with a payment plan stay on your credit report,? |
|

You'll have it on your credit report for at least 7 years, BUT after two years you can qualify for the same interest rate on a mortgage as someone who hasn't filed. Keep paying the amount on time and your credit score will improve immensely! |

According to the credit bureau Experian, a chapter 13 bankruptcy remains on your credit report for seven years from the filing date. |

The important thing is how long the company you're dealing with will look back for it. SOme loan companies look within the past 7 years, some look more and some look less.
I'm sorry I don't know the exact answer,but I hope that helps some. |

7-10 years, but you will have to get it removed after that.
some credit places NEVER remove it....> |

Technically forever. But most things you apply for only look back a max of 10 years. |

7 years; but it doesn't automatically go off. You have to request to have it removed; at least in TX. |

any one that checks on a blip on your credit report reopens the statute of limitations law...therefore it could stay with you for the rest of your life. If,however you save the old mulla and pay cash for everything $$$$$ who gives a flip how long it stays with you....If ya aint got the money for the item..either wait and save for it or let it go.. |

I've recently discovered that if you filed jointly (with a hubby) that it'll show up on HIS and not necessarily yours. My hubby can't get a loan but I have excellent credit. Go figure. |
